Honey bees today faces challenges for survival. Bee populations are threatened by many factors including habitat loss, diseases and continued use of pesticides and herbicides. Join us as we strive to increase awareness, provide forage by planting in our gardens, reduce chemical use, and promote strong, bee-friendly communities.

Fayco Beeks has fun and educational monthly meetings that are open to the public. Although we encourage you to join, you don’t have to be a member to attend. Meetings begin with meet and greet, followed by club business, announcements and potluck dinner. There is time for questions and answers, where members help each other solve or prevent problems. Lastly, we have guest speakers whose presentations cover a wide variety of topics. The presentations are designed to help all levels of beekeepers, including new folks interested in bees and beekeeping. Our meetings are a great place to make new friends, network, and learn.

Fayco Beeks Meetings are held the first Saturday of every month. Meetings are held in the AgriLife Extension Service building in La Grange, 255 Svoboda Lane, #134, La Grange, TX 78945.
